The Rooftop Party Look was for a friend's birthday at a rooftop bar in the city. I wasn't sure what to expect from a home visit service for something this specific, but it was excellent. The artist understood the lighting situation immediately and the makeup held through a warm evening outdoors. Very little retouching needed by midnight.

Three Sessions, In Detail
The Challenge
A department head in Taichung's Xitun business district needed to present to a visiting international team. She had a video call component plus in-person segments. She was concerned about appearing over-made-up on camera while still looking polished in person.
The Approach
Pre-Meeting Polish session at her home office 45 minutes before her departure. Matte base to avoid camera glare, defined brows, neutral eye shadow rather than liner, and a lip shade that translated clearly without reading as heavy on-screen. Total time: 28 minutes.
The Result
Multiple colleagues commented that she looked "very composed" during the presentations. She noted that she forgot about her appearance entirely by the time the meeting began — which was exactly the point.

The Challenge
A new mother with a 12-day-old infant had arranged a home documentary photography session. She was exhausted, and sensitive about having products used near the baby. She also wanted to look naturally refreshed rather than made-up.
The Approach
Motherhood Documentation session structured around two feeding breaks. Fragrance-free kit only. Light coverage base to even out sleep-deprived skin tone, soft eye warmth, and a lip shade in her natural range. The artist waited quietly during each break and resumed without disruption.
The Result
The photographs from that session have since been framed for the family home. The mother felt that she looked recognisably herself — something she had worried about given how tired she was. The baby did not react to any products during or after the session.

The Challenge
A group of three friends attending a rooftop venue opening in central Taichung wanted the same artist for all three. The session needed to work sequentially within 90 minutes, and they wanted distinctly different looks despite the shared setting.
The Approach
Three consecutive Rooftop Party Look sessions over 90 minutes, each adjusted to the individual — different base weights, different eye intensities, different lip choices. All three optimised for the open-air, city-lit environment expected at the venue.
The Result
All three clients photographed well at the event and reported strong staying power through the evening despite warm and slightly humid conditions. One noted the makeup still looked fresh in photographs taken after midnight.
